La Paz – Cochabamba, the busiest route in Bolivia

The trip between the cities of La Paz and Cochabamba is one of the most important in the country. Some tourist attractions in La Paz

La Paz has been named one of the 7 wonder cities of the world in 2014 by the New 7 Wonders group thanks to various attractions not only from the colonial era but also current attractions. We present some activities you can do in the wonder city:

Visit the witches market located in the center of the city, behind the church of San Francisco, one of the most visited places by tourists. There you can find amulets, traditional mixes and products to make offerings to mother earth, known as Pachamama.

Take the cable car or walk up to the Cristo de la Concordia, a statue of Jesus located atop the hill of San Pedro. From the top you have an unmissable view of Cochabamba. The monument itself has a total height of 40 meters and is larger than the Christ the Redeemer in Sao Paulo.
